The mission of the Pine Island Middle School Student Council is to build responsible leaders within our school community and promote the values that represent good character in all students.
We will accomplish our mission through:
- Leading by example in our classrooms and community by showing panther PRIDE behavior.
- Helping others in our community
- Engaging our friends and classmates through after-school activities
- Serving as a source of communication between the students and faculty of the school.
The middle school student council consists of 6th-8th graders. The student council works hard all year to plan different activities including: 7-8 grade dances, Veteran's Day Assembly, food drives, holiday candy grams, kickball tournament as well as a coin war for the American Cancer Society.
