Hello! I work with students grades 8-12 in a resource room setting. The students develop academic skills and increase their classroom success by work completion with resource room support.
I have been teaching 25+ years in the areas of both Regular and Special Education. I have taught HS Psychology & Journalism, MS/HS Language Arts/English, with most years in K-12 Special Education.
I grew up in Aberdeen, SD, and attended Creighton University in Omaha with majors in Psychology, English, & Education. After teaching a while, I returned to school for special education and then a Master of Science in Education, all at NSU in Aberdeen. I have licensure in the areas of K-12 SLD, EBD, DCD-MM, and ASD, as well as 7-12 Language Arts.
My husband Dave and I have 2 grown daughters, Madison and Sydney.
I am proud to be a PI Panther! Please contact me with any questions or concerns!
