Hello!  Thank you for visiting my website.  I am excited to be joining Pine Island Public Schools this year!  I will be teaching 7th grade American History and one section of 5th grade flex math.  

I graduated from Pine Island High School in 2007.  In high school, I participated in gymnastics, softball, orchestra, choir, and theater.  I was a member of the 2007 Minnesota Class A Gymnastics Runner-Up team.  I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Augsburg University in 2011.  During college, I was a four year starting outfielder for the Augsburg softball team. I recently completed my Masters of Education Degree from Augsburg University in the fall of 2022.  

My past teaching experiences included a year teaching English in Chongqing, China.  I also taught in Dodge Center, Minnesota at Triton Middle School from 2013-2023.  

I currently reside in Pine Island with my husband and children.  My three children are Logan (5), Jonah (3), and Margaret (10 months).  I enjoy reading, running, playing pickleball, and listening to history podcasts.
