Kraus-Anderson (KA) will begin construction on a new project for the Pine Island School District - ISD 255. Designed by Wendell Architects, the $6.8 million dollar project is a new (2 Level) 20,356 square foot Early Childhood Facility. The project consists of precast walls & plank, storefront systems, 2,000 SF multipurpose area that also acts as a storm shelter, office/classroom spaces, 2-stop elevator and second level indoor playground
Construction Activities:
Work in August:
- Interior Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Rough-Ins are going in
- Roofing is “water tight” allowing drywall to get started
- Windows are being installed
- Exterior grading is wrapping up
- Site curbing and asphalt were completed in the month of August
Upcoming Work in September:
- Continuing Finishes and working towards the lower level
- MEP rough-ins are moving down to the lower level
- Windows will be completed in late September into early October
- Metal Panel field measuring will occur and installation will begin the beginning of October
