Shawn Erickson




Greetings!
   My name is Shawn Erickson.  I am a graduate of Kenyon-Wanamingo Schools.  I am also a graduate of the University of Wisconsin River Falls where I received my bachelor's  degree in Broad Area Agriculture with a minor in Animal Science. Upon graduation I worked for Purina Mills Inc.

   My master's degree in Agriculture Education is also from the University of Wisconsin River Falls.   I have taught at Plainview High School, Stewartville High School, and Riverland Community College.  

   I am married to my wife Megan.  I have four sons: Brock, Brody, Braeden, and Braxton. 

   I enjoy many aspects of agriculture, but have passion for show lambs and show swine.  I am a current partner in Erickson Family Farm LLC.  We lamb out around 50 ewes each year.  I also judge youth livestock shows in MN, WI, and IA.

   I have coached wrestling, football, and baseball.  I enjoy fantasy football and many other aspects of athletics.  I also enjoy hunting and fishing.

   FFA has been a very important part of my live and I still enjoy many aspects of this organization.
